Justa baking scale from Effem
This scale is made by Fränkisches Metallwerk m.b.H. from Nuremberg in Germany. This company specialized in kitchen scales under the brand name EFFEM. This is clearly a combination of the sound of the initials F and M. This scale bears the name JUSTA and is referred to as a baking scale in a catalog dating from circa 1938. The Justa has a drag pointer that can be manually reset to zero for easy reading of each subsequent weight addition. The weighing range of 2 kilos is subdivided per 10 grams. The scale is 15.7 centimeters high, the plateau is 14.7 x 10.3 cm. The frame of the dial measures 10.8 cm square.
