letter scale maker Lindells
This beautiful blue letter scale comes from Sweden and is made by Lindells. The weighing range is 250 grams. There is a measuring stripe every five grams. The scale has the Lindells logo on the front and below that the text: made in Sweden. A cream-colored example has previously been shown on this website, see here. That one misses the made in Sweden text.
Lindells was founded in 1870s, the company merged with Stathmos in 1966. From 1974 only the name Stathmos AB was used. In 1980 production in Jönköping was stopped completely.
The letter scale is 19.0 centimeters high, the base measures 12.2 x 8.2 cm, the letter plate is 8.0 cm round.
